Zoku Amsterdam finally open
Zoku Amsterdam officially opened its doors! The new work¬meets¬play hotel concept can be found in the Weesperstraat in Amsterdam, open and ready for business in the heart of Amsterdam. Zoku is a new category in the hotel industry: a hybrid of flexible home and office, also suitable for long stays, with the services of a hotel and the social buzz of a thriving neighbourhood.

We had to wait a little bit longer than expected, but the hotel is finally open. Last year we already wrote an article about it, Zoku was announced as the end of the traditional hotel room. This new hotel concept is a hotel, office and residential space in one. In this way they will meet the needs of global nomads, working internationally is an essential part of their lives. The Zoku Loft will offer them an efficient workspace which also provides a comfortable and cozy feeling of home at inspiring places.
Zoku is focused on global nomads
Zoku means ‘family’ or ‘clan’ in Japanese. It’s a place to live, work and sleep for the global nomads who want to work and travel all over the world. With the service of a hotel and the dynamics of a cozy neighborhood. Zoku is co-designed with design and architecture firm Concrete from Amsterdam.
Press and awards
Although it took a while before the hotel opened, Zoku received a lot of media attention the last couple of months. Media such as CNN, The Daily Mail and The Telegraph wrote articles about the hotel. Moreover, Zoku already won a Serviced Apartment Award and a Radical Innovation Award while the hotel wasn’t even open.
Where to find Zoku?
Zoku is located in the Eastern Canal District, in the heart of Amsterdam. On arterial Weesperstraat, the building is easily accessible by car, bicycle and public transport.
