Of course, you can always keep sending press releases with images about openings but we feel that many young entrepreneurs have more confidence in the reach of social media. Hence our choice to highlight these young entrepreneurs this way.
Rif010 | Urban Surf in Rotterdam
Those of you in Rotterdam who missed the opening of Rif010 have been living under a rock! We thought it was a cool concept back in 2015 but it took some waves in the water to make it happen. But now they are making it to news bulletins, the international press and as a surfer you can’t have missed this concept! At their location in the heart of Rotterdam, you can surf, bodyboard, supp, canoe or cycle on their pumptrack. Should you be less sporty or after your exertion, you can enjoy the view of those taking the waves from their SurfBar & Kitchen with terrace. You can find the link to their website in the title.

Nomu | Boba, Matcha, Coffee
Opened on May 1st: Nomu on Haarlemmerdijk in Amsterdam. They have 3 signature drinks: boba, matcha and coffee. The young entrepreneurs Milo (26) and Hessel (28) both come from the hospitality & cocktail industry, the knowledge they gained there, together with their interest in the Asian drinks culture is the basis of Nomu. They serve Asian-inspired drinks that, like cocktails, look beautiful but also have a balanced flavour.
All their drinks are vegan, they combine everything with plant-based milk, cow’s milk is their alternative that is sourced from Amsterdam farmers like Moma Amsterdam. They also have a summer twist on the classic matcha with homemade fruit puree! Check out their Matcha Strawberry in the reel below, in the link in the title you will find their website.
