Restaurante Los Cosmos in Leiden
Restaurante Los Cosmos opened this August on the Aalmarkt in Leiden. Los Cosmos consists of two floors and is 600 square meters big. The new concept is located in the former Zara Home. They also have a terrace next to, in front of and opposite the restaurant. On their terraces there is room for over 100 guests and inside about 200 more guests!
Restaurante Los Cosmos | Fresco y Sabroso
Fresh and tasty, is the motto of this Spanish concept. They serve for example bocadillos (delicious for lunch), pica-pica dishes such as Gambas Pil Pil and patatas bravas and of course many Spanish hams such as Iberico but also berico cecina de leon (beef ham). Their specialties include Sardines from the Josper Grill and sous-vide cooked leg of lamb – pico de gallo and much more!
It is a concept with a hip Ibiza-like interior, where you can enjoy Spanish atmospheres even in winter. Check out their mission in the reel below: ‘bringing the true flavors of Spain to Leiden!’

Restaurant Noos in the Arsenal building in Terneuzen
Restaurant Noos opened in September and is located in the iconic Arsenal Building in Terneuzen. This is a building full of character that has been transformed into a unique experience. As you enter, you are welcomed into a stylish cocktail bar, where they pamper your taste buds with sophisticated drinks. You can enjoy a varied menu during lunch and dinner since they have 2 kitchens. One kitchen prepares artisan pizzas and delicious pastas, while the other focuses on sophisticated fine dining dishes for the ultimate culinary experience. They serve a three-course menu for a fixed price and à la carte.
Lots of attention and space for children
Of course, they also have dedicated kids menus and they can decorate their own ice cream in the Candy Shop! The ice creams are served in a Noos cup that they can take home.
By the way, kids are more than welcome at restaurant Noos anyways. There are several play lofts, where young and old can have fun. While guests enjoy their food, little ones can discover their own adventures in between courses. See in the reel below how much fun they’ve made these play lofts.

Hotel Rumour in Leiden
The place next to the Burcht holds a happy place in my heart, as we celebrated our wedding here. The ambiance has been transformed to nowadays but the location remains special and accessible. Just so cozy! With the name like Hotel Rumour, you would also expect many hotel rooms but there are only two rooms in the attic, Salon Royale and La Suite Petite, ideal for private dining and more.
Terrace at special place in Leiden
Guests are welcome from 11 a.m. and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The nice thing is that they have two well-known suppliers from Leiden on the menu, Leidsche Koek and cheeses from Fromagerie Bon with ‘kweepeer’ and ‘kletzen’ bread. The menu includes cauliflower fritters and serrano ham croquettes. As main courses, you can also enjoy, roasted pointed cabbage with piccalilli, pumpkin seed and puffed garlic gravy as well as a tasty smash burger. The terrace at this special place remains one of the most beautiful spots in Leiden! They regularly organize fun events such as pub quizzes on Mondays, check out the reel below. ^Marjolein
