Zalmhaventoren Rotterdam | The tallest tower in the Benelux
At a height of no less than 215 metres, De Zalmhaven offers unparalleled views of the Rotterdam skyline. Since its construction, the complex has been the tallest tower in the Benelux, making it the prime location for a new Magnicity location. Zalmhaven CV and Magnicity signed a long-term lease for the two floors. Especially the high-quality and modern look, the location, the enormous potential for a unique concept and of course the beautiful view attracted Magnicity to De Zalmhaven.
Unforgettable experience
That it is going to be a unique experience is certain. Magnicity is known for its venues that offer immersive experiences. The company is a world leader in high-altitude urban leisure and an expert in managing panoramic observatories and restaurants. For instance, Magnicity also owns Rotterdam’s Euromast and operates in various locations around the world, including Paris, Chicago and Berlin. With this new gem on its list, the company promises Rotterdam residents and tourists a memorable experience. As Alexia Vettier, CEO of Magnicity, reveals, “The operation of the upper floors of De Zalmhaventoren in Rotterdam is a milestone for Magnicity. We believe in the development of Rotterdam and its enormous potential. De Zalmhaven is more than just a tall building in the city with stunning views, it is a new icon and a premium experience that perfectly suits Magnicity.”
Bar, restaurant and experience
With the concept in De Zalmhaventoren in Rotterdam, Magnicity is creating a complementary offer in the city. This will be in collaboration with the Euromast’s teams. Souad El Hamdaoui, current director of the Euromast, and Dennis Vermeulen, appointed general manager of this new location, will lead the project. Together, they are keen to transform the top of the tower into the destination where a special dining experience goes hand in hand with the unique view at exceptional heights.
Even for those not directly planning to take a seat at the restaurant, the venue will be open from the end of 2024 to experience the impressive views and the ultimate wow effect. The location will be open to the public all day, this way everyone can enjoy panoramic views of Rotterdam, including the most spectacular view of the Erasmus Bridge.
