Dipping-Friendly Milkshakes | Bacon milkshake for dipping pizza

Spotted at Domino’s Japan, a bacon milkshake for dipping pizza. The shake is available in a regular version and a whipped cream version, both of which are characterized by their ice cream flavor with bacon for a sweet yet salty taste. The Milkshake also serves as a dip for the pizza, so customers can try a whole new experience, both in terms of taste and texture. The Domino’s Bacon Shake is a limited edition that will only be available until March 5, 2023. More information in the article at Trendhunter, link in the title.

Amazon now lets you pay with your palm at Whole Foods

If Amazon has its way, we will be able to pay for services by scanning your palm instead of swiping a debit card soon. Amazon One is a new biometric payment technology that is already used at some Whole Foods Markets. It’s a quick and flawless way to pay, it works by scanning your unique palm print. Since its launch in 2020, the tech has been slowly coming up at the mega-company’s various outlets as well as third-party retailers. According to the website, 214 locations now offer the contactless tech. It works through the use of machine learning, which identifies customers by creating palm signatures. Burger King Thailand comes with a Chocolate King Hamburger menu

The combo of choc and bun is a collab between Burger King Thailand and Hershey’s that also includes choco french fries, chocolate milkshakes and a chocolate pie, available till the end of March. The Hershey’s Chocolate Burger features some pretty normal hamburger toppings: a flame-grilled beef patty, American cheese, crispy-fried onions, and bacon. However, things get weird with a chocolate bun made with Hershey’s chocolate and a drizzle of Hershey’s Premium Chocolate as the finishing touch. The colour Bomb Wonder Cup

The Colour Bomb Cup has been created by Big Eddy Glass Works in Canada as a way of maximizing their glass colour supplies. When using glass colour rods, there is breakage, as small shards of concentrated colour break off, which are too small to make anything out of them. They always wanted to clean these small pieces up but they had no real use for them, until they created the Colour Bomb Wonder Cup. These cups use up small chunks of random colours, that show off the liquid within the glass, while also bringing pops of colour to your collection! Great design to use in restaurants. McDonald’s Germany introduces McPlant® Nuggets developed by Beyond Meat®

The ratio of flexitarians is also growing steadily in Germany and with the introduction of the McPlant product platform, McDonald’s Germany is taking this development into account. So they now offer McPlant Nuggets in addition to the McPlant burger already known in several countries. These plant-based nuggets will also be offered in their Happy Meal. The two products offer flexitarians and vegetarians new choices with a typical McDonald’s flavour and have been developed by Beyond Meat. The Nordic Umami Company has developed sustainable umami flavors from plant-based circular ingredients

People are often put off by a vegan diet for its lack of umami: one of the core tastes that usually corresponds with meaty flavors. This is why the Finnish food technology startup The Nordic Umami Company has developed sustainable umami flavors from circular ingredients, hoping to speed the transition to a fully sustainable food system. The company now hopes to scale its fermentation-based technology into an industrial-sized pilot plant while expanding its impact with new creations. The company’s umami products include bouillons, sauces, and salts. More information in the article at Springwise, link in the title.
