At horecatrends.com we spot many national and international trends on a daily basis. We pick the most interesting ones to write about, the other trends we use in our weekly column ‘Trends we spotted this week’. With this week links to social media posts about:

‘Pints’ of wine stocked on Britain’s shelves for the first time ever
As stated by the UK Government: ‘Pint’ size wine stocked on Britain’s shelves for the first time ever thanks to new freedoms from leaving the European Union. Still and sparkling wine to be sold in 200ml, 500ml and 568ml ‘pint’ sizes in 2024 and 900 British vineyards set to benefit across the country from new freedoms. More details in the official statement of the UK Government.
We’ve removed burdensome bottle size restrictions for 900 British wine makers 🍾
And consumers will benefit from improved choice 🙌

Perfect for last minute present dashes, the shop is stocked to the brim with bespoke gifts like Savoy Baubles, bath robes, Christmas Crackers and delicious Chocolate truffles handcrafted by their Pastry Team. The Daily Kneads serves a croissant filled with soft serve ice cream
Inspiration for the ice cream season 2024? A croissant filled with soft serve, spotted on the account of the Daily Kneads at the Nox Egypt, a New Cairo Artisanal Sourdough Bakery & Pizzeria by What the Crust. The Instagram of Daily Kneads is linked in the title. We spotted it before as a croffle but the simple recipe by The Daily Kneads looks delicious as well and it should not be missing on the list of croissant inspiration!

The broissant was only available till the 23rd of December at The Cake Shop at The Landmark hotel in London. Their chefs created this new croissant treat, it’s a mix between a croissant and a brioche and came in four different flavours. We think they look delicious!
