From greenhouse to theatre hall: three out-of-the-box settings for an inspiring fair

Due to its central location on the A1 and A30 motorways, the Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld has always been a popular exhibition venue. After an upgrade, the complex now consists of three worlds, each with its own atmosphere and unique features for trade fairs, business events and congresses with around 300 to 1,000 visitors.

With a floor area of 2,600 m², the Events Greenhouse lends itself perfectly to compact fairs. With its own entrance, several bars and food corners, an additional area and lots of daylight, you have a complete world for your fair here.

The Theatre Hall (6,000 m²) is a spectacular world with moving stands and mobile LED walls. The exhibition floor? You create that in the adjacent Theatre Glashouse (1,250 m²), which is light and spacious. More details in the link in the title.

Bossche Bollen ice cream | Famous Dutch pastry in ice cream

And they have a webshop with Christmas Bossche bollen and key rings, boxers, socks and so on with their speciality on it!

Gastro-Mexican restaurant Oaxaca celebrates its first anniversary with special dish for Día de Muertos

On 25 October 2023, gastro-Mexican restaurant OAXACA opened its doors on Amsterdam’s Spuistraat. Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is the important Mexican holiday celebrated by all Mexicans worldwide on 1 and 2 November. The dish is available until November 10th.

Chef Joan Bagur: ‘Día de Muertos, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, celebrates a very special moment in the Mexican calendar. We are excited to create a culinary experience and special dish for our guests in memory of the loved ones who are no longer with us.’ Link to their website in the title.

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort celebrates 37th anniversary by inviting guests to share their love story | #DearBucuti

For almost four decades, Bucuti & Tara has welcomed guests from all over the world and the resort has become a part of their stories and memories. Each guest brings with them a unique experience, like the recent 37th visit of Philip and Christine Stuart from New Hampshire, USA, who have long considered Bucuti & Tara their second home.

Each story, like theirs, is very special to the resort. In honour of the anniversary, Bucuti & Tara invites guests to revisit their own memories. The resort looks forward to hearing and reading the memories from guests who have stayed at Bucuti in recent years in the form of love letters. These memories reflect the strong, long-standing bond between the resort and its guests. Bucuti is immensely proud of this, they are also proud of the 97% occupancy throughout the year. They are convinced that these special memories and the guest experience certainly contribute to this occupancy rate.

Guests can share their love letters by emailing their stories and a photo to dearbucuti@bucuti.com, or by posting on Facebook or Instagram and using the hashtag #DearBucuti. The celebration began on October 19th  and will continue throughout the 37th year.

Hotpot Cinema

Spotted at the account of Mike China Vlog: Hotpot Cinema in the city of Changsha in the Hunan Province, China. Searching for Hotpot Cinema shows us it’s done in more cities in China but also in Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. Here in the Netherlands we’re also watching more culinary movies in restaurants nowadays, maybe Chinese food served while watching a Chinese movie might be an idea?
