A magical screening of Harry Potter with a live orchestra will travel the globe
Experience the magic of JK Rowling’s world-renowned Harry Potter films with a stunning live orchestra. The Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series is heading on a huge, global tour, visiting 48 countries. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is showing at the Royal Festival Hall on September 17 and 18, accompanied by the excellent, 69-piece Czech National Symphony Orchestra.

Buses4Homeless | An Innovative solution for homelessness
Buses4Homeless is a low cost holistic solution to homelessness. They refurbish decommissioned buses into spaces for Eating, Sleeping, Wellbeing and Learning in order to re-engage homeless people back into the community. How it works? It’s a 3 month intensive program to help homeless people to overcome the issues that lead to them being homeless. Teach them soft and vocational skills, engage them into apprenticeships, train them, help them to secure Jobs or create businesses and re-engage them back into the community. The designated smoking cabin | Transforms 99.95% of cigarette smoke into clean air
The first Smoking Cabin is located right outside Fusionopolis in Singapore and is in service since May 2019. It’s an smoking cabin that filters cigarette smoke and release clean air to its surroundings. Singapore has very stringent laws for smoking and in this Smoking Cabin they can smoke legally, the air filtration system eliminates secondhand smoking. The cabin allows up to 10 smokers at the same time. The company wants to roll out 60 cabins in Singapore by the end of 2019. Spotted through the daily newsletter of Trendwatching.

In the global hospitality industry, interoperability between multiple applications and vendors is key to helping hotels plan for the future, where higher guest and operations bandwidth consumption present real challenges for existing hotel networks. Ruckus Networks, part of CommScope, recently expanded their portfolio in which they ease hotel fiber deployments while enabling new IoT (Internet of Things)-solutions. In other words: they make sure that the different machines/applications within your hotel communicate easily with each other which should benefit the guest experience.
The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019: the list of 51-120
Next Tuesday, the 25th of June, the World’s 50 Best Restaurants sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna will be revealed during the awards ceremony in Singapore. Ahead of this list they have revealed its extended list, with an additional 20 restaurants in celebration of S.Pellegrino’s 120th birthday this year. The award ceremony will be live-streamed on Fine Dining Lovers.
In the extended list two Dutch chefs: at 99, The Jane in Antwerp (chef Nick Bril) and at 102 Amber in Hong Kong (chef Richard Ekkebus).
Negroni Week In London | Delicious cocktails Charity
Negroni Week is returning to London at the end of June, and it’s going to see a bevy of the most highly regarded bars across the capital come together in the name of a very good cause.
The Negroni Week is becoming an annual tradition (the 7th time) and this year marks a particularly one – because it’s the 100th birthday of the negroni itself.
