Brouwerij Homeland launches Love Boat with inclusive edge
In addition to its range of regular beers, Brouwerij (brewery) Homeland brews quite a few specials every year. This summer, that’s the LOVE BOAT beer, a silky smooth tropical New England IPA with an inclusive edge. That’s because they are joining forces with ‘Don’t Go We Will Fund Them’ (here you can find more information about them) to contribute to the queer community. A percentage of beer sales will go to this charity and they are also organising a fundraise night together with @tillatec. Love Boat is a juicy hazy barley-free NEIPA infused with tropical hops Galaxy, Nectaron and Cryo Pop. For sale via the link in the title.
Postillion Hotels joins Code-V

Besides Postillion Hotels, Code-V welcomed 18 more signatories on Monday 3 June. Petit Caron reopens next to Café Caron
Restaurant Petit Caron has moved! Once started on the Gerard Douplein but now at home on Frans Halsstraat 26H as a neighbour and little brother of Café Caron in the former ‘Le Restaurant’. Under the guidance of renowned architectural firm Dam & Partners, they created an innovative interior inspired by the many bar-a-manger’s of Paris. The restaurant consists of two large bars surrounded by a dozen small round tables and a long table in the back that can accommodate larger parties. INK Hotel Amsterdam once again colours pink during Pride Amsterdam | Theme opening party Let’s Vogue
During the Pride Week 2024, INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery Collection will transform into the PINK Hotel for the ninth time. Every year, the hotel in Amsterdam turns pink for ten days to celebrate diversity and inclusion. True to tradition, INK Hotel Pride Amsterdam kicks off with a smashing opening party on Thursday 25 July, this year with the theme ‘Let’s Vogue’. Inspired by the dance style of the same name from the 1980s. Vogueing symbolises equality, acceptance and pride and encourages dancers to express themselves in a powerful and authentic way, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. The fabulous evening will be musically supported by a DJ from the LGBTQIA+ community. The PINK Hotel will be open from 25 July to 4 August 2024 for a special Pride programme with various activities.

Restaurant Reservation Anti-Piracy Act in New York State
June 6, the New York State Legislature passed the Restaurant Reservation Anti-Piracy Act (S.9365/A.10215), becoming the first state in the nation to pass legislation intending to combat the trend of predatory software flooding the online restaurant reservation marketplace. Now, the bill awaits Governor Hochul’s signature to become state law.
“Today is a major victory for the hospitality industry in New York, setting a precedent for the nation. Our members work hard each day to create a desirable dining experience. Now, when diners do have the ability to dine out, they will no longer have to compete with predatory bots capturing reservations and reselling them at exorbitant prices. And restaurants will no longer be left with empty seats from unauthorized third-party reserved tables. This legislation supports restaurants, diners and the legitimate apps uplifting the hospitality industry. We hope the Restaurant Reservation Anti-Piracy Act inspires other states to push back against bad actors taking advantage of restaurants’ hard work and consumers.” Part of the text by Melissa Fleischut, President & CEO, New York State Restaurant Association.
