Minor Hotels unifies global corporate identity with NH Hotel Group rebranded to Minor Hotels Europe & Americas

NH Hotel Group, part of Minor Hotels, will now operate as Minor Hotels Europe & Americas following a vote by NH Hotel Group’s shareholders to change the company’s registered name at its Annual General Meeting held last Friday.

By adopting the Minor Hotels Europe & Americas name, NH Hotel Group strengthens its integration with Minor Hotels, fostering a single, recognisable corporate identity for stakeholders, accelerating Minor Hotels’ global growth. Ibis celebrates 50th anniversary

This year, ibis, the world’s best known economy hotel brand, celebrates its 50th anniversary. ibis was established in 1974 on three core promises: affordability, innovation and quality. Democratizing travel and hospitality, it was the first hotel brand in Europe to make a high quality, comfortable night’s stay accessible to all. Today ibis is the leading global economy hotel brand, with more than 2,500 locations in 79 countries across the three brands: ibis, ibis Styles and ibis budget. Continuing to break new ground with a pipeline of over 320 hotels, ibis brands will continue to expand its presence to new markets in 2024 and beyond, marking its 50th anniversary by opening into its 80th country by the end of the year, with the launch of the ibis Styles Reykjavik Muli in Iceland. Original Bored Ape-themed restaurant Bored & Hungry closed

In March 2022, NFT and crypto investor Andy Nguyen purchased Bored Ape #6184 along with three Mutant Apes and soon decided to establish a Bored Ape-themed restaurant, ‘Bored & Hungry’. The text in the Instagram post below, says that the original Bored & Hungry location in Long Beach, CA is now closed. Andy Nguyen shares that they had sold the concept to a franchising company from Asia known as HUNGRY Dao. We have been discussing the NFT market in combination with hospitality outlets a couple of times. While Bored & Hungry was perhaps the most high-profile effort to bring the world of Web3 to food, it was far from alone. Since the NFT trend burst into public consciousness in 2021, numerous early-adopting restaurant operators, crypto-curious chefs, and FOMO-driven corporations have launched initiatives to connect their food businesses with Web3 elements. Nowadays, most of these ventures have either shut down or scaled back. More examples in the article on Spoon, link in the title.

NON | A game-changer in the zero-alcohol space

Do you want a great night out and pass on the alcohol? There is a new drink on the block: NON. Visit the UK store, link in the title. NON works with both local and international farmers and suppliers. This means they secure the highest quality ingredients. The variety of the fruit and vegetable may change over the seasons, but they are always chosen for top flavour, and peak seasonality. After that they start roasting, stewing, steeping and curing. All done in house. Then they add verjus, the unfermented juice of young, unripe grapes. It’s the base of all their flavours. It is blended in as he final ingredient and provides body, balance, and acidity. The non-alcoholic drink is filtered and bottled.

Jumping into the dive pool from the top of a 5 meter wall is just one of the thrills inside the out-of-this-world waterpark designed by Water Technology, Inc.. The website of AquaClimb can be found in the link in the title.
