#WandIt | drinkin wine without having a hangover
The Wand™ by PureWine, with patented nanopore resin technology, is a hangover solver. It selectively targets undesired histamines and sulfite preservatives the moment it touches the wine in your glass. If you #WandIt before you drink it, The Wand™ makes embracing your favorite wine rituals possible without worrying about the bothersome side effects the next morning.
Streethacker
Streethacker is a restaurant review app that allows those eating out to create and upload short (10 seconds) videos of their dining experiences. The videos can include voiceover and text. One can follow other Streethackers to share insights. Another example of an app that allows customers to fact check the information. Customers do trust reviews from other users more than they do information from restaurants. Besides, video reviews gives them more insight in the sincerity of the reviewer. As they indicate: Streethacker is a kind of Snapchat meets Yelp.
Print a Drink
Print a Drink is a new 3D printing method that is developed at the University of Arts and Design in Linz, Austria. This 3D printing method creates intricate structures inside drinkable liquids.
Audi, the Emmy Awards & Airbnb
As part of Audi’s Emmy Awards sponsorship, the auto brand and Airbnb offered fans the chance to book a three-day getaway at the luxury Rondolino Residence in Death Valley, Nevada. An isolated address, actually it seems to have no address. It has to be found with the coordinates on a map. Guests get to drive a 2017 Audi R8 during their stay… Check out the add at adweek.
The Grand Gelinaz! of 2016 will be on the 10th of November.
40 world class chefs (see line–up in the article of Fine Dining Lovers) will cook simultaneously across five continents and multiple time zones in the one-off worldwide 24–hour S.Pellegrino sponsored event. We wrote about this event before, basically it’s all about swapping kitchens, teams and surrounding.
At the list of participating top chefs no Dutch chefs this year, a bit disappointing! Ticket are now on sale at the website of Gelinaz!
Szechuan buttons
A couple of years ago we had the pleasure of tasting Szechuan buttons from Koppert Cress. At the website of Fine Dining Lovers an article about these electrifying edible flowers. Its new use is in electrifying cocktails and they link you to some recipes!
