Hello Kitty Café year round pop-up in California
If you’re looking to sit pretty in pink, look no further than the long-awaited Hello Kitty Café. The pop-up, which opened on Friday, July 15, will be operating at Irvine Spectrum’s Big Wheel Court for a year, serving the cute, kitty-themed treats, sodas, teas and coffee. Check out their Facebook! We can’t visualize a Hello Kitty Café in the Netherlands, but who knows as a pop-up?
Simple and popular summer mix drinks
Last week we received a press release with simple and popular summer mix drinks. Some of those mixes made us linger for an after work summer drink! Especially now the beautiful weather has arrived in the Netherlands as well! How about a mix Limoncello Tonic or Fiorito Rum with Rose Lemonade? But a red Vermouth with sparkling water or a mix of Drambuie Soda during a summer evening, sounds good as well! We already started experimenting.
The world’s healthiest burger
Exclusively for Groupon chef and nutritionist Libby Limon created world’s healthiest burger. The ‘Nutri-Burger’ is made with 50 supremely healthy ingredients, including a patty made of beet, natto and quinoa. Groupon is giving its users the chance to taste the world’s healthiest burger at London’s Magpie and Stump through an online contest.
The ‘Museum of Ice Cream’ is a paradise for dessert lovers
Travelling to New York City this summer? Don’t forget to visit the ‘Museum of Ice Cream’, a must see spot. In July this pop-up museum is completely focussed on ice cream. Why you should go there? The museum includes a swimmable rainbow ‘sprinkle’ pool, the history of ice, edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room and many more. Tickets start at $ 18,= (ice cream included)
Pizza Hut lanceert Emoji-menu
To mark World Emoji Day, last weekend ( the 17th of July), Pizza Hut translated its entire menu in to emoji for a limited time only. Those willing to crack the code could order in emoji language, but the ‘plain old English’ menu was available on request!
The world’s most expensive tasting menu experience
The diamond company, the World of Diamonds Group and CÉ LA VI Singapore, are offering the world’s most expensive dining experience costing a whopping $ 2.000.000. Great for a marriage proposal for the very rich! It includes a helicopter ride, luxurious private cruise and the actual dinner taking place at the top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore. At the article on Fine Dining Lovers you can read the menu and the wines! On top the couple will receive diamond-studded chopsticks with their names engraved and 1 Jane Seymour 2.08 carat blue diamond ring!
