The Sadistic Wizard Brewery wins final Cannibale Royale Homebrew Competition

After a thrilling final, The Sadistic Wizard Brewery’s Milkshake IPA ‘Makeatutara’ has been crowned winner of the Cannibale Royale & Two Chefs Brewing Homebrew Competition in Amsterdam! Five talented amateur brewers competed at Cannibale Royale Du Nord for this ultimate award, but in the end it was The Sadistic Wizard Brewery that took home the gold.
In our article of August 19, we already wrote about this fun collaboration between the restaurant chain Cannibale Royale and the brewery ‘Two Chefs Brewing’. De Makeatutara Milkshake IPA x 2500 liter
The professional jury, consisting of Gavan Goossen (co-founder Cannibale Royale), Thomas Wijns (founder of the BierBalie), Sanne Slijper (one of the Two Chefs), Monique ten Kortenaar (Lucas Bols/Wynand Fockink), Oscar Blok (manager Cannibale Royale Handboog) and Klaas Evenhuis (co-founder of Wild van Wild), praised the Makeatutara Milkshake IPA. The Amsterdam’s brewery Two Chefs Brewing will now brew 2500 liters of the beer in collaboration with The Sadistic Wizard Brewery, after which it will be sold at all five restaurant locations of Cannibale Royale.
A nice combination
The 2500 liters Makeatutara Milkshake IPA will be sold at all Cannibale Royale locations. Gavan Goosen, co-founder of Cannibale Royale and host of the final about this beer: “Because of the full and strong flavors, this IPA goes perfectly with a nice rib-eye or a juicy burger with grilled vegetables. We are excited to invite guests to come and try and experience themselves what a great combination of good meat and good specialty beer can do. And of course we congratulate The Sadistic Wizard Brewery on its well-deserved win!”
