Tonkotsu ramen at Takumi
Takumi’s noodle soups find their basis in original recipes and authentic spices. Specially imported from Japan for a unique flavour. Tonkotsu ramen broth is a typical Japanese broth often used in Takumi cuisine. This is also the case in Eindhoven. This ramen broth is made with pork bones and prepared by boiling them in water for a long time. Pork broth is known for its high collagen and fat content. This makes the soup creamy, hearty and mild in flavour. This traditional preparation method has been used at Takumi for many years and continuously improved for the ultimate taste experience for every ramen lover.
About Takumi
Takumi is a Japanese ramen restaurant founded in 2007 by Mr Saeki and Mr Okada. Ramen is the ultimate soul food from Japanese cuisine, with Takumi being known for its authentic Sapporo Noodles. Takumi uses only original recipes and authentic spices that they specially import from Japan. Only the right noodles give ramen its authentic flavour, which is why they come all the way from Japan’s northernmost region, Hokkaido, where they are produced and fermented under strict conditions to give the soups their strong, distinctive flavour. There are different kind of ramen dishes on the menu, with a broth of pork, chicken, or Miso or Shoyu as a base. You will also find various side dishes like Gyoza, Kara-age and many more authentic side dishes on the menu. Over the past 15 years, Takumi has grown into a ´brand´ with its own merchandise. The chain already has 43 locations across Europe in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and the Czech Republic.
