In honor of Amsterdam’s annual Pride celebration, SUSHISAMBA is partnering with top fashion magazines ELLE, GLAMOUR, L’HOMO and VOGUE for a bespoke collaboration. The culmination is four custom-curated sushi creations that reflect the iconic design, passion, energy, lifestyle and individuality of each brand while paying homage to Amsterdam’s world-famous city-wide celebration.
Edible sushi art | In honor of the Pride in Amsterdam
SUSHISAMBA’s master sushi chef John Um worked closely with each publication to create one of a kind edible art using sushi as his medium and tapping the restaurant’s signature flare, fresh, ingredients and artful presentation with style and fun. “At SUSHISAMBA we are proud to partner with these iconic brands” says John Um, SUSHISAMBA Corporate Chef.“I wanted to create dishes that reflected the concept of sexual ambiguity; these dishes are neither masculine nor feminine and can be an artful reflection of one’s beliefs.”

Guests can experience each of the four provocative dishes from Monday, July 30th through Sunday August 5th a portion of the proceeds from each dish will benefit Pride Amsterdam. “We look forward to celebrating Pride Amsterdam with much love, color and passion and continue spreading the message of equality across the globe” adds Um.
