Opening – With 12 stores already opened and 2 new ones in the pipeline, SALSA SHOP is fast becoming the biggest player in fresh Mexican food in Europe. Recently, SALSA SHOP’s newest showpiece opened: an impressive 1,345 sq ft flagship store at the Claude de Buyslaan 273 in Amsterdam.

SALSA SHOP Zuidplein the best running location so far
“Our best running location so far is the SALSA SHOP at Zuidplein, on the Zuid As,” says founder Louis Wesseling. This location opened back in 2018. “However, we noticed that many people who worked on the other side of the railway (ABN side) found the location too far to walk. That is why we have now opened a location for the people on the south side as well.”
The new flagship store is a tall and impressive building of 1,345 sq ft and 8 metres high. Inside, there is enough room for 30 people. The new location is open to the public every day from 11:00 in the morning until 23:00 in the evening. During the opening week, a DJ will also be playing every day. It is the 12th location to open and already the 2nd location to open this year. Earlier this year, a new location was opened in the Bijlmer (another part of Amsterdam). A new location in the Javastraat and a new location in Amsterdam Noord will also open this year.
