Restaurant Renato’s has officially opened in the Dutch coast city of Bloemendaal aan Zee. Family vibe as the theme for Renato’s restaurant
The family vibe is the theme in the restaurant business of Kim Lakho and Freek Schraa. In 2013 they took over the ‘baby’ of chef Renato Arduini in the Pijp area of Amsterdam. A restaurant with those typical Roman thin pizzas, with Renato himself in the kitchen and his family in the service. The feeling in the restaurant is still exactly the same, but Kim and Freek managed to copy the Renato’s experience to 4 other locations in Amsterdam, to the Foodhallen in The Hague and to Nijmegen. And now visitors and residents of Bloemendaal aan Zee can get acquainted with the homemade pastas and pizzas of Renato’s. “We believe that quality products, matching wines and the passion for good food make the difference between a mediocre -and insane experience. Our love for Italian cuisine runs incredibly deep. We want our guests to share in that”, says Freek.
Poort Beach Boutique Apartments
Hotel manager Koen Vogel is looking forward to his first summer in Poort Beach: “Thanks to the unique location, right on the boulevard of Bloemendaal aan Zee, we are a great base for a (family) vacation, wedding or event at the beach. In combination with Renato’s, we can pamper our guests in all areas.” The iconic building overlooks the sea and the apartments are warm and modern decorated. Thanks to the child-friendly facilities and the presence of kitchens in the apartments, the hotel also lends itself to longer stays with the whole family. Various tourist attractions, such as the Zandvoort race track and the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
