Sircle Collection, a form origin Dutch hospitality group, presents private members’ club The Cover. This new private members’ club welcomes entrepreneurs, innovators and creatives from this winter on in the historic ‘Rijkskantoorgebouw voor Geld- en Telefoonbedrijf’ in Amsterdam. The former Kas Bank building already houses several well-known enterprises, such as restaurant The Duchess*, W Amsterdam and Dutch design shop X BANK. These companies will soon be joined by The Cover.

Private members’ club The Cover | Community, well-being and business
The new members’ club focuses on three pillars: community, well-being and business. Members will have exclusive access to workspaces, a private dining area, a cosy living room and a club menu specially created by The Duchess chef. They can also enjoy free access to W Amsterdam’s AWAY Spa and gym and receive special rates at all Sircle Collection hotels.
Liran Wizman, founder and owner of Sircle Collection, says: “One of Sircle Collection’s key attributes is building and nurturing the local community. The soul of Amsterdam, the city I call home, is the basis of The Cover: a place for creative talents and where everyone is welcome to exchange and share ideas, inspiration and projects.” The Cover hosts various events in the fields of body & mind, culture and entrepreneurship. This way, members can not only gain more knowledge on interesting and current topics, but also network with entrepreneurs from other industries.
Barcelona, Amsterdam and Vienna
Private members’ club The Cover is a home for entrepreneurs and passionate people from different fields. Anyone can apply via the website. The application process is now open to become one of the founding members (meaning you will be one of the first), including extra benefits ahead of the official opening. Amsterdam has Sircle Collection’s second private members’ club after Barcelona, and clubs will soon open in Vienna and other European cities. As Privat members’ club The Cover has been added to the Sonato Alliance network (an invitation-only network of the world’s best and independent private member clubs), members have access to private spaces in cities such as Los Angeles, Singapore and Toronto. A membership at The Cover costs 180 euros a month (140 euros if you are 30 or under), excluding a registration fee of 500 euros (or 250 euros under 30). Sign up here.
Baranowitz + Kronenberg
The Cover Amsterdam was designed by Baranowitz + Kronenberg Architecture, the interior design and architecture studio of Irene Kronenberg and Alon Baranowitz. The studio became known over the past 20 years for their designs of hotels, restaurants and commercial spaces. Projects include hotels Sir Joan and W in Ibiza, Sir Albert, W Amsterdam and The Duchess in Amsterdam and restaurants Topolopompo, Jaffa-Tel Aviv and Pastel Brasserie in Tel Aviv.
Coincidentally, we recently read that private members’ clubs are currently booming in New York and we are curious to see if the same will happen here in the Netherlands as well, especially in the current economic climate.
