Pracht Event | Orangerie de Pol connects art with fine dining
Greenhouse restaurant Orangerie de Pol in Doetinchem connects art and fine dining during the first edition of their ‘Pracht Event’ (Splendour Event). On Sunday June 9, numerous (local) artists will present themselves in and around the greenhouse of the renowned restaurant in the Dutch region Achterhoek. Guests will be able to view special works and performances while enjoying the culinary skills of top chef Mark Captein.

First edition Pracht Event
At the first edition of Pracht Event, the world of art comes together with a culinary experience. The day is filled with a varied programme, including dance performances, demonstrations and presentations by the artists. All activities are taking place in and around the special greenhouse of Orangerie de Pol in the outskirts of the Dutch city Doetinchem.
Wine and champagnebeer
Chef and owner Mark Captein and his kitchen team will provide a menu with dishes for young and old. Among others, luxury sandwiches, oysters and culinary amuses will be available throughout the day. There are several bars on the premises, including one with tasty wines and one with the exclusive champagnebeer Vuurzee.
For young and old
There has also been thought of the children. Not only can they visit the event for free, but they can also attend a children’s performance by Tante Peet from childcare centre De Vlinder. For adults, admission is 25 euros, which includes a drink on entry and tasty amuses. Tickets can be ordered online via this link and via Orangerie de Pol’s website.
Pracht Event is an initiative of Orangerie de Pol in collaboration with ‘Enjoy Your Senses’ and will take place Sunday June 9 from 12:00 to 18:00.
