With the help of Dreamteamaustralia-design, usually responsible for the design of restaurants and cafes, they succeeded to make Churchill’s Butchery a very exclusive butcher. With refrigerated display cases, meat on a stage and the dish of the day in the spotlights, you find yourself in an upscale store instead of a butchershop.

With the website www.drinkkraanwater.nl Tom Niekamp and Tetsuro Miyazaki are trying to get attention for drinking tap water. Tap water is much better for the environment than bottled water. It saves mountains of waste, and is cheaper. Especially for the hospitality industry it will be difficult to join this trend, as they make money selling bottled water. However, according to the men is also a way for the hospitality entrepreneurs to demonstrate their ‘green’ business.

Lemonade in fancy bottle

The company Jerome designed these bottles for his organic lemonade. The lemonade itself contains no dyes or preservatives, and is slightly sweetened with fructose. The bottles are made of aluminum, making the package ‘eternally recyclable’.

The former maritime school in Delfshaven has been turned into a trendy ‘knowledge, art and culture factory’ where people go out, work, eat and drink, meet and a daycare for children is available. With a grand café and restaurant, they do address both people who work in “The Machinist”  as the inhabitants of Delfshaven and beyond. “The Machinist” opened March 7th.

Look-alikes of prime-minister Balkenende and former minister of Finance Bos, asked the real Balkenende and Bos to vote for their favorite coffee. This action is part of the campaign ‘Party for the coffee’. With this campaign, Douwe Egberts is trying to convince companies and employees to choose good coffee at work.

Perhaps the smallest pop-up hotel as a promotional stunt for the city of London. The caravan, which is nine meters, has everything you would expect in hotel, from a check-in desk to a bathroom. People who are interested may participate in a competition om March 7th. The winners will stay in the caravan from March 15th  to 19th.
