New York participates for the first time this year where the day is called “Macaron Day” at the initiative of François Payard, chef and owner of Chocolate Bar François. Smart Energy Glass by Peer+ is designed to save energy and to generate electricity. The amount of light and transparency of the glass can be set, whicih saves energy. For example in the summer the glass turns darker, making it less hot inside and an airconditioning is no longer required.

Three-star chef Sergio Herman will serve Mediterranean and Oriental dishes at his newest restaurant Pure C resto-bar in Cadzand-Bad, The Netherlands. The restaurant opened on March 15.

The first floating islands will be in Seoul

 In Seoul, South Korea, they are constructing the first floating islands. On the islands in the Hangang River buildings will be placed, designed by Rem Koolhaas and Daniel Libeskind. The project will cost $ 84 million.
