A jug that checks your milk

Cravendale has developed a milk jug that will warn you when the milk is sour. With a simple ph-sensor at the bottom of the jug, the acidity of the milk is measured to determine whether you can still drink the milk or not. On the outside an LCD screen that indicates whether the milk is fresh or sour.

No more paper towels

At the international airport of Hong Kong a Martell cognac boutique opened. This is the second shop by Martell cognac. The shop is very tastefully furnished as a boutique and also gives the customer the chance to actually taste the cognacs.

Edible spaghetti holder

Guillaume Pérusse, student design at the UQAM, invented a ring of dough that keeps spaghetti together. In a pan of boiling water the edible ring slip off so the spaghetti is cooked separately.

Worlds oldest whiskey

This Mortlach 70 whiskey from Scotland is officially the world’s oldest whiskey. This whiskey is 70 years old and has an alcohol content of 46.1%. A total of 54 large and 162 small bottles are produced. The large bottles are sold for £ 9,999 while the smaller bottles are solf for £ 2,499.

Student José Luis García Eguiguren impresses with this spiral shaped vodka bottles, each matching a different emotion. The colors and flavors do indicate the emotion, so you can always drink a vodka no matter how you feel.
