McDonald’s has a new burger since March 2nd: The Dutch Deluxe. Research showed that guests increasingly value the bun, and therefore the burger has a wheatbun. Check out the ad on Youtube!

Schiphol Amsterdam Airport in The Netherlands is the first airport in Europe that has two ordering colums at the McDonald’s Restaurant in Lounge 3 (behind the passport check). Guests can use a touchscreen for their orders and pay by debit or credit card.

McDonalds is committed to the real Dutch winterfeeling. The Dutch Winter Weeks started in Sneek. People with skates around the neck were given a free burger. For a period of six weeks the menu holds genuine winterproducts. In addition, the guests are given an opportunity to win ‘winter‘ in their own street (www.wineenwinter.nl). For two days the street will be transformed in a winter setting.
