In New Zealand’s oldest national park, which is a ski resort and on the edge of an active vulcano, this Knoll Ridge Cafe is built. The restaurant can withstand sub-zero temperatures, wind speeds of up to 125 miles per hour and heavy snowfall during the winter. Besides the beautiful panoramas, the architecture flows perfectly over into the surroundings.

Bees on the Waldorf Astoria Hotel

Since this spring, the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, houses around 250,000 bees. Not only supply these bees honey in a sustainable way to the restaurant, but also aims to help provide pollination to support the city’s recent campaign to plant a million trees over the next decade. Hotel guests can also book a tour on the roof.
