The Intercontinental Hotel Group will introduce its Indigo hotel concept in Asia. By the end of the year, a hotel will be opened in Shanghai. The Indigo hotels are inspired by the location’s culture, nature and the environment. The hotel has 184 rooms and guests can enjoy overlooking the city and the Huangpu River from the rooftop.

Passengers can order food from participating restaurants(at the airport) near departure gates in various special iPad kiosks. The food is then delivered at the gate within ten minutes. Besides ordering the iPads can also be used for checking flights and playing music.

Iceland Express Airline is the first European company who offers IPAD’s to travelers. The iPad will be offered on flights from Reykjavik to London, New York, Berlin and Copenhagen.
