A new robot in the hospitality industry. Hilton Worldwide and IBM announced a collaboration to pilot ‘Connie’ – the first Watson-enabled robot concierge in the hospitality industry. Hilton’s new robot draws on domain knowledge from Watson and WayBlazer to inform guests on local tourist attractions, dining recommendations and hotel features and amenities.

We often feature examples of winter magic from abroad on our website, like this week about the ‘Countdown to Christmas’ themed suites at a number of Hilton Hotels and the Christmas initiatives on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate museum. Finally, Guinness has recently launched a new stout beer, to all coffee lovers: pay attention!

Located on Metz’s former freight station, Maison Heler Metz is the most ambitious urban planning development launched in the region for a century. Philippe Starck designed this new hotel with an 18th century traditional Alsatian home on top of a, 14 floors, monolithic and monochromatic building for the Curio Collection by Hilton. read more
