Opening – The Hague South is pleased to welcome the largest restaurant of the Hudson family. The tenth branch of this successful dining sensation inspired by American cuisine opens here. Where Barn47 used to be – known as a popular event location – you will now find a restaurant where you can go all day for every restaurant moment. Whether it’s a play date with your girlfriend and your kids, or a drink after work with colleagues.
Already the tenth location of this popular and fast-growing restaurant chain since 2009. Hudson The Hague South is also their largest location! The urban vibe of New York has spread through the Netherlands, they started in the Statenkwartier in The Hague, and have restaurant in Zoetermeer, Leiden, Almere, Voorschoten and Rotterdam! The wow effect at Hudson in The Hague South
Upon entering Hudson The Hague South you immediately have a wow effect. The urban and cool look due to the high ceilings, large steel windows and brick walls, make you feel as if you have ended up in a loft in New York. Within the restaurant they work with different heights which creates a grand appearance, but the different seating areas with robust chesterfields ensure that you can still enjoy a cozy and intimate atmosphere with your company. Central in the restaurant is a huge bar that is clearly visible from every angle and where you can sit down for a delicious cocktail. In the middle of the business is a large staircase that gives access to the loft, from here you have a beautiful view of the entire restaurant. Here you can sit down at the regular table with a larger group for a drink or business meeting. From the loft you can go directly to the club area. A space where guests imagine themselves in an American speakeasy cocktail bar and can enjoy cocktails and jazz beats until the late hours.

Hudson takes you on a culinary trip across the USA. From business lunches and drinks with family to a romantic dinner and delicious cocktails with friends. You can join this new hotspot at any time of the day and for any occasion. On the menu are American food classics such as the Lazy Sunday Nachos, BBQ Taco, Ranch SaladBowl, Steaks, Chili sin Carne and the very very juicy Hudson Burgers. Meat, fish and vegetarian lovers will find a wide choice on the well-filled menu. At the huge bar you can relax with cocktails, mocktails or a special beer. They even have a Beer Bible with lots and lots of craft beers. They organise beer tastings and have a huge pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant. Children are more than welcome, there is a completely individual and separate playroom, which is furnished like the rest of the business. Here you can order all the goodies from the menu in peace – or what about an American Tea or High Wine? – while your children have fun with the many toys. Ideal, right?
It’s also an event location for a company party, a wedding or a walking dinner. If you want to organize an event for more than twenty guests, there is even the possibility to rent the impressive Ofyre BBQ.
