Moonshine Raceway | At ‘The Four Thieves’ pub
Moonshine Raceway is a new sporting activity which provides the opportunity to experience the thrills and spills of REAL motorsport. It’s safe, inexpensive and great fun! Drivers will be invited to take the wheel of one of 10 perfectly performance matched top range super-cars, using real steering and pedal controls to pilot their cars to victory. The first Moonshine raceway opened last year at the pub and microbrewery ‘The Four Thieves’ in London. Would these kind of funny and attractive arcade games lure people back in pubs?
The Four Thieves
The Four Thieves is a pub and microbrewery located in the heart of Battersea, near to Clapham Junction station. During daytimes they serve food, a selection of house brews and craft beer and wine. They even have a Gin Yard with a huge gin collection. Their arcade is located at the upper floor, it fits over 200 people and has Moonshine Raceway remote controlled car racing, Virtual Reality and a Plonk mini crazy golf course, as well as table football, several retro arcade cabinets and pinball machines. They also have two immersive game rooms hosted by Handmade Mysteries called Lady Chastity’s Reserve. They call this game ‘the next generation escape room’ and it must be booked in advance. Fun to lure people to the pub! Well we think it might work, we even discussed it between colleagues and we would definitely go.
Moonshine Raceway
The Racing Bug (world leaders in scale Motorsport) will be building a sensational 10 driver race system and complex circuit at venues throughout the UK beginning with The Four Thieves. The race system, originally designed as a training aid for real racing drivers, mimics every aspect of the full scale sport.
