LuminAir opens its doors this summer
The location is atop the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station (where the Skylounge was previously located) and the opening is in June. LuminAir is a place where you escape the hustle and bustle of the world below. With Amsterdam as its inspiration, LuminAir stands for energy, art, colour and ever-changing skies of the creative city. The interior and dynamic service exude inclusive exclusivity and trigger LuminAir’s audience.
Food and drink
LuminAir is all about the best mixology, with a signature Lumen Menu consisting of cocktails created based on the intensity of light and heat. The menu is characterised by a combination of familiar flavours and innovative techniques.
The range of modern, international and flavourful bar bites consists of accessible dishes that are perfect for sharing during the day, evening and night. As LuminAir works towards a higher goal, the base of the culinary offering is sustainable, with a focus on zero- or minimal-waste techniques as well as local produce.
Interior and exterior by King Kongs
LuminAir manages to perfectly reflect the atmosphere of the sky above the bar. The modern interior is spectacular and a constantly changing canvas of art and light, courtesy of cloud-shaped installations and light projections. This is accentuated by warm lighting and plush designer furniture. The large terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows make you end up in the clouds, literally and figuratively. Atmosphere & private events
The soulful lounge music played by the house DJs forms the lively and upbeat soundtrack of LuminAir. Recurring events are highlights on the city’s social calendar.
LuminAir’s event space, Eclipse, is designed with exclusivity in mind. It is a private cocktail bar lounge and terrace with breath-taking views of the city. The perfect perspective for high society events, luxury product launches, creative pop-ups and decadent private parties.
