Leftover Lemon & Elderflower | Fruit Beer Against Waste
Fruit beer that also serves as a solution to food waste. We chose elderflower – one of the most beautiful floral flavors of spring – and combined it with lemons rejected by supermarkets. From this, we’ve created a clear, citrusy, refreshing beer that’s great for the taste buds – and for the planet.
Lowlander is known for its use of botanicals: flowers, herbs, and spices, each bringing their unique flavor. Now, we’re taking it a step further by creating a rotating assortment of fruit beers. Made with pure, rescued fruit. Our light, slightly sweet wheat beer base perfectly complements the sharp citrus. This results in a deliciously complex flavor, without unnecessary additions.
As a member of 1% For The Planet, they donate 1% of the proceeds to Trees for All, supporting sustainable forestry projects in the Netherlands and beyond for a healthier climate. Additionally, this beer combats waste by being brewed with surplus lemons.
Now Also Non-Alcohol
Fruit beer on the terrace: is a pleasure everyone should enjoy. That’s exactly why they’re now launching Leftover Lemon & Elderflower in non-alcohol (0.3%). Because an afternoon on the terrace without alcohol can be just as refreshing.
