Joepies, the most delicious bread candies!
A nice idea, little bread snacks in a cone shaped bag. On the 10th of March DANVO Bakeries launched a new unique innovative snack, the ‘Joepies’. Joepies are one-bite sized bread rolls made of bread dough, supplemented with fresh fruits and herbs. Joepies in 3 flavours
Joepies come in three flavours. A Savoury one with fresh spring union, Italian herbs and cheese, A sweet one with fresh pieces of apple and cinnamon and a fruity one with fig and rosemary. Because of the range in flavours, Joepies can be eaten throughout the day. As a snack but also with your coffee, high tea or with a dessert. Besides this, there are also special cone shaped bags or the Joepies available. Great for sports events, caterings and theme parks. The bags have a special pocket for a dipping sauce. The Joepies are named after Joep van Iersel, well known for having a sweet tooth, he also helped developing this ‘healthy’ snack. Besides the three current flavours, the idea is to launch new flavours throughout the year based on the seasons. DAVO currently works on a special December edition.
Inspiration
It is a nice way to serve these delicious bread snacks in a cone shaped bag, an inspiration for catering companies. It seems like a nice idea to serve these bags with breadsticks or other tasty snacks on a terrace. Name your snacks after the chef wich developed them and it might be a success this summer!
