Hightealicious
Coffeelicous is known in Holland as the winner of the ‘Koffie Top 100’ in 2014. They also own Hightealicious in Dordrecht (the Netherlands) where they serve fancy high teas. As far as we know, this is the only shop in the Netherlands that exclusively serves high teas.
Hightealicious in the ‘Patriciërshuis’ in Dodrecht
As you might expect from the name of this tearoom, they exclusively serve high teas. Hightealicious is a tearoom of Coffeelicous that is located in Dordrecht in the museum; ‘Het Patriciërshuis’. The high tea takes place in the ‘Ronde Maaskamer’ which has a unique view on the busiest shipping route of the Netherlands.
Joan Buitenhuis is one of the owners of Hightealicious, who bakes fresh products every morning like scones, soda bread and other goodies. For inspiration you can take a look on their Instagram account! There are several matching teas served during the high tea. Besides the traditional high tea they also serve “celebration” high teas for birthday’s, bachelor parties and baby showers for example. They have different kinds of themed teas like ‘Say Yes To The Dress Afternoon Tea’ which is served after a try on session at ‘La Nova’ bridal fashion.

Hightealicious is part of the coffee shops of Coffeelicious. The number 1 of the coffee top 100 in 2014. This coffee shop is also known for its breakfast & lunchroom with homemade pies and certified barista’s. On March 1st , owners Peter and Joan Buitenhuis and Marc and Fiona Stoger opened their third coffee shop. In April this year they will open a fourth location of Coffeelicious in museum ‘Het Huis Van Gijn’.
