Hawaiian | The best student of the class
While schoolgoers have started a new school year full of healthy resolutions, Hawaiian, the Belgian poké bowl chain, is celebrating a new milestone. After six years, Hawaiian has become the best student in class with as many as 45 restaurants across Belgium and the Netherlands. Hawaiian: Making Healthy Easy
For many, the start of the school year is all about a fresh start, and that includes healthy choices. Hawaiian responds to this perfectly with their mission: ‘Making Healthy Easy’. With fresh, colourful poké bowls whose ingredients are prepared fresh daily in a central kitchen, Hawaiian offers a healthy and tasty alternative to your daily lunch. Whether you are looking for a nutritious meal between classes, or as a quick lunch during work, Hawaiian ensures that healthy food is always at your fingertips.
A look back at 2024
This year has already started successfully for Hawaiian, with the opening of seven new branches in both Belgium and the Netherlands. In Belgium, brand-new Hawaiian restaurants opened in the cities of Aalst, Roeselare, Bruges and Liège. In the Netherlands, the chain grew with new locations in Amsterdam (2 branches) and Utrecht.
Strong Growth and Ambitious Plans
What started six years ago as a small, Belgian poké bowl concept has now become a growing chain with international allure. Hawaiian, with its 45 branches, seven of which are in the Netherlands, is increasingly focusing on the Dutch market. More establishments will follow in the coming months, further strengthening Hawaiian’s position as market leader in the Benelux.
