Makeover – Lotti’s, the vibrant meeting place of The Hoxton Amsterdam, is getting a fresh start on Novenber 11th with a new culinary team, updated menu and contemporary interior.

The Mezzanine becomes Upstairs at Lotti’s
The new menu, based on Modern-European cuisine, gives Dutch classics a sophisticated twist and allows familiar flavours to take on a new dimension. The iconic Mezzanine in The Hoxton Herengracht restaurant will be transformed into “Upstairs at Lotti’s,” a space that promotes a sense of community, serving quality coffee by day and sophisticated cocktails by night.
Culinary classics with a modern twist and local produce
Since 2015, Lotti’s has been known as the destination for good food and a vibrant ambiance. The revamped menu, led by the recently appointed culinary team, offers a surprising take on Modern European cuisine with carefully selected local produce, including delicious ‘Kometenbrood’ and ingredients from small-scale producers of The Kitchen Republic Community. Guests can enjoy delicious breakfast options such as airy waffles and freshly baked pastries. At lunch, tempting choices include the signature Mortadella Sandwich and ‘Bang Bang’ Chicken Salad. For dinner, Lotti’s offers a variety of small dishes such as Spiced Kibbeling and Potato Rosti, and larger main courses including Smoked Sausage & Boudin blanc, Confit Duck, and Beef & Barley Pie.
The dishes are accompanied by a selection of wines that are natural, organic and biodynamic, carefully curated by new-generation sommelier Figo van Onna of Zuiver and wine expert Nico McGough of Well of Wines. To end the meal, desserts like Rhubarb Jelly Trifle and Apple Éclair are a must-try. F&B Director Bunmi Okolosi says: ”Our new menu will evolve – sometimes seasonal, sometimes playful, and other times just delicious ingredients that speak for themselves.”
A fresh interior with a contemporary vibe for Lotti’s
The interior of Lotti’s has also undergone a sophisticated makeover. With a mix of ’80s influences, bold shapes and a palette of soft pastels and vibrant colors, the revamped space offers an inviting and modern ambiance. Sculptural elements and metallic accents create a dynamic effect, while warm lighting contributes to an intimate atmosphere.
Upstairs at Lotti’s | The new hot spot for coffee and cocktails
With the transformation of the Mezzanine into Upstairs at Lotti’s, the restaurant now offers a new experience. During the day, this space is the destination for coffee lovers, with baristas serving high-quality coffee from Uncommon, accompanied by artisan pastries from a local bakery. In the evening, Upstairs at Lotti’s transforms into an atmospheric cocktail bar with stunning views of Amsterdam’s canals, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends.
“At Upstairs at Lotti’s we have listened carefully to our guests. During the day we serve the most delicious coffees, and at night we focus on cocktails. The space is ideal for semi-private events. With the new interior and a raised floor, we are giving this unique place a fresh boost. It is also a great playground for various activations and collaborations.” said Michel Bruynseels.
Guests are welcome to discover the revamped experience starting Nov. 11th, and until then they can still enjoy Lotti’s current offerings.
