Emily in Paris Afternoon Tea in Gouda
What should we imagine with an Afternoon Tea in the theme of ‘Emily in Paris’? You can expect shopping bags of chocolate, petit gateau’s of Lychee, rose & raspberry, cookies in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, ‘la vie en rose’ cupcakes, hot lips chocolates, the one and only McBaguette, French croissants and a French onion soup. The tea is served for €39.50 per person. Reservations can be made through this link.
Enjoy their afternoon Tea (in Emily in Paris style) at Coffee & Cocktail bar COCO of Relais & Chateaux Weeshuis (the orphanage) in Gouda. A collaboration with Dammann Frères, an exclusive tea house from Paris. You will be welcomed with an Icetea from Fleurs de Dammann Frères. So anyone who wants to imagine themselves in Paris for an afternoon, on to Gouda.
About the WSHS Gouda
We previously wrote about Restaurant Lizz with chef Remco Kuijpers at Relais & Chateaux Weeshuis, check out the image at this Dutch article. Sharon and Lennart van Gastel are knowns as the beating heart behind this hotel in Gouda. With a great passion for interiors, historical details combined with modern, refined hospitality and a keen eye for detail, they transform abandoned, preferably very old, buildings into attractive and surprising hospitality concepts. As they did with this former Orphanage (Weeshuis), it deserved a new, unique destination. You may also know them from the Museumcafé Gouda, Keck, and LF-Gouda (in an old light factory).
