Booze-free craft cocktails for everyone, that’s what Curious Elixirs wants to accomplish. They made it their mission to redefine what it means to drink socially. The signature requirement isn’t that a drink is alcoholic; it’s that it’s special, delicious, good for you, and good to drink with friends. We love to see more initiatives for booze-free, great tasting mocktails!
Curious Elixirs | The first cocktail is launched
Their first cocktail has been launched with a big party at the Panther Room in New York the 15th of February. Curious Elixirs cocktails are 100% alcohol-free and 100% organic. The blends are secret of course but they didn’t add sugar, they’re gluten, dairy and nut-free, fair-trade and contain no genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). There are a lot of alcohol-free cocktails on the market, but this one is made by a bar owner who knows the ins and outs of making a good drink — with or without booze. The Curious Elixirs nr. 1 is being sold in a nostalgic brown bottle. It combines organic juices, spices, herbs, roots, barks, and botanicals and is lightly carbonated.
Curious Elixirs founders John Wiseman and Ashley Simon set out to create their own brand of non-alcoholic cocktails after their best friend decided to get sober. But the drink is also ideal for those pregnant and ready to party or those who want to cut back on their drinking but still want to socialize.
Curious Elixirs are inspired by craft cocktails and are meant to be ‘unique but familiar’. They’re backed through Kickstarter last year.
