Crospresso by Piccolo Me | Croissant + Nutella + espresso
It’s always great to spot concepts that know how to hit the social media with Instagrammable food! Piccolo Me in Australia is one of those concepts where their guests talk about the fun factor of their food and how delicious it is. The coffee chain Piccolo Me started back in 2012 and has 12 outlets as we write. Their menu is a mix of dishes, they serve a Cheesy Frenchy (a Cheeseburger in a croissant), a Piccologato (a twist on the classis affogato) and since a couple of months the Crospresso!
The Crospresso | Instagrammable food / drink
Coffee Chain Piccolo Me has been launched back in 2012 by brothers Charlie & Roy Hachem. According to all posts on social media it’s a fun filled hotspot full of the most ingenious and tantalizing treats to tickle your taste buds. Besides their creative concoctions, they also appeal the serious coffee lover with Fair Trade Certified Organic coffee served by highly trained baristas. The name Piccolo Me originated from Charlie and Roy’s coffee of choice “Piccolo Latte” and pays homage to the size of their first store being ‘small’.
Charlie and Roy proof themselves to be trendsetters with their Cheesy Frenchy, Piccologato and now the Crospresso. Croissant remains a perfect food for creating concoctions, check out the latest concoction we spotted the Tacro by the Vive la Tarte bakery last week. Check out the video of Food Insider to see how it’s made. It looks like it’s created in the idea behind the ‘Milk and cookie shot by Dominique Ansel’ but with croissant dough.
