The Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam is creating a special Christmas season this year. The hotel has a Christmas advent calendar at their website and on December 9, the official Tree Lighting ceremony will be held in the lobby. Their Christmas tree is decorated in collaboration with jewelry brand Buccellati and will be revealed with a performance by the Dutch National Opera & Ballet.

The Conservatorium Hotel, member of ‘the Leading Hotels of the World’, are giving away 24 prizes, one for each day of advent. It’s easy to enter, simply guess the correct answer to the Dutch element hiding in the window. If you follow them on Instagram, you will find clues for the daily questions. Everybody can enter the prize draw and win prizes every day. So if you like you can come back daily to see the question behind each window and go into the draw to win the grand prize on the 24th of December. The way to celebrate the Christmas Season
With an official Tree Lighting Ceremony, a special decorated Christmas tree and a performance by the Dutch National Opera & Ballet, the Conservatorium Hotel is showing us how to enjoy the most festive season of the year. We have been writing about the Tree Lighting Ceremony before and always advised to throw a real party around this event, and they did.
