On July 21, 22 and 23, Door 74 will host cocktail festival SHAKE! This festival takes place at Helling 7 and Lagerwal, where the initiators, together with ten Amsterdam cocktail bars and various brands, bring the vibrant cocktail scene closer to the public. The other participating cocktail bars are: The Tailor, Cielo, Rosalia’s Menagerie, Super Lyan, Pulitzer’s Bar, Vesper, Law & Order, Feijoa and Café Panache.

Get in touch with new flavors in an accessible way | Cocktail festival SHAKE!
Even though cocktails are often an afterthought at regular festivals and food events, the initiators of cocktail festival SHAKE! put them central. Spread over the terraces of Helling 7 and Lagerwal near the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam-Noord, ten cocktail bars from Amsterdam will be given a stage to introduce a wide audience to the adventurous flavors that are devised in the cocktail scene. The six physical bars are allocated to various brands, who will present themselves through creative activations and combinations.
SHAKE! expects to welcome visitors between July 21st and 23rd, ranging from professionals from the cocktail and restaurant scene to curious guests who want to get in touch with new flavors in an accessible way. Not only can you taste the most exciting and interesting cocktails that the Amsterdam scene has to offer, but you can also enjoy a full program of music, food, workshops and entertainment in the form of live music and DJs.
Special ambiance for this festival
“With SHAKE! we have the ambition to attract and serve many different target groups”, say SHAKE! initiators Tim Lefevre and Jonthy Lensink: “From regular guests of the participating cocktail bars to new target groups who would like to get acquainted with the cocktail phenomenon in an accessible way. The combination of the location, the new concept and the program are exciting for different visitors in several ways. As a visitor to this cocktail festival, you can gain more knowledge and learn a lot about the world of cocktails, but of course also simply experience various delicious flavor combinations and fully immerse yourself in the great ambiance.”
It will take place from 21 to 23 July 2023 at the location of Helling 7 x Lagerwal. Entrance: Friday tickets €10.00 and Saturday and Sunday €17.50 (incl. welcome cocktail). Opening hours are Friday, July 21 from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday, July 22 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday, July 23 from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
