The Flemish brewery Hof ten Dormaal developed a beer with the bitter taste of chicory. Hof ten Dormaal failed to sell the beer to distributors, because people do not like the vegetable. Therefore, 90 percent of ‘White Gold’ beer is shipped to the United States.
