Domino’s Brazil has launched a great campaign with a local video stores: bake a pizza in a DVD player. When you place the DVD into the player, it looks like a average movie disk. When the temperature of the disk increases throughout the movie, the ink will be activated. After the movie, when the disk is ejected, the DVD is transformed into a mini pizza with pizza aroma, fresh baked into you player. The pizza has a message that encourages fans to pare the next movie with a Domino’s pizza.
Recharge your phone through an umbrella

As the summer season begins, people often work outside. With this umbrella, guests at your terrace can recharge their laptop or mobile via an USB outlet. The umbrella has a small solar panel that converts solar energy into electricity for the USB outlet. Restaurants can provide their guests with extra service, allowing guests to spend more time on the terrace.

Travelers can have a cozy dinner at someone’s home, share stories, have an unique experience and meet new people. It is a similar concept as AirBnB. The question is to what extent providers on this website must meet requirements such as hygiene and so on.

Domino’s started a funny Mothers day promotion. The pizza chain gives away 50 free pizza cards with a personal audio message, including your mother’s favorite pizza. Through Facebook you can record a message and the 50 most original messages will be delivered on Mothers day with her favorite pizza.
Be part of the Tiger Beer augmented reality campaign

A nice example of augmented reality. An interactive Tiger Beer video wall ( of beer brand Tiger Beer) situated along the connecting walkway within Dhoby Ghaut MRT station detects passers-by through infrared motion sensors, displays the persons walking past and triggers speech bubbles to appear above their heads, as if they were thinking out loud. The speech bubbles contain quotes with excuses to not miss the football match. Fans can post their most original and innovative suggestions on how to make it in time for a match online. The best submissions will be featured on the video screen.
Robot entertaining in a restaurant

‘Robot Restaurant’ in Tokyo gives you a real entertaining during a dinner. The restaurant has four, 11.8-foot tall robots who are ‘fighting’ with each other. The robots are controlled by scantily clad women dancers and accompanied by loud electronic music. Building the robots and the interior of the restaurant did cost 125.8 million dollar. The entrance of the restaurant is $ 51 and even though there is nobody eating in this video, it does include dinner and drinks. The restaurant opened in august 2012.

Watch how you’ve spent the night with a piece of art. That is possible at hotel chain Ibis Hotels. The chain offers guests a ‘sleep art app’ that makes an artwork of your sleep pattern. As the guest sleeps, the app runs throughout the night recording sounds, movements and vibrations through the iPhone’s built-in sensors. Your unconscious activity during your sleep has been interpreted as a colorful work of art. Natural green shades in the sleep masterpieces signal a relaxed night of sleep, whilst red and amber tones suggest that you had a restless night. The ‘sleep artwork’ can be shared by email or via Twitter and Facebook.
