Several major restaurant chains in Japan have their own salad machine. The machine provides 60 heads of lettuce per day and ensures that restaurants are provided with the right quality of lettuce. The machine, called “Chef’s Farm” grows lettuce without sunlight. The machine uses 12 fluorescent lamps of 40 watts. Guests receive a temporary phone equipped with a so-called NFC chip. This chip allows the exchange of data between different devices. Snooth is a community site that compares prices of wine and makes it easier to look up certain wines for people who can’t remember labels and names of wine. The latest gadget is the labels finder. You can simply take a picture of the label on the bottle and upload it to snooth. The website tells you where the wine is for sale and allows you to order it online.

The new campaign by the World Wildlife Fund to save the tiger can be a shocking experience. WWF lets people in Russia think that they are shot while trying on a t-shirt with a tiger print.
