Summer festival Homelanding in Amsterdam

Next week, from July 17 to 21, the Marineterrein in Amsterdam will once again be transformed into the five-day summer festival Homelanding, full of live music, local beers, delicious food and a warm neighbourhood ambiance. For this festival, Homeland Brewery and Cantina Mobilé have joined forces to start of the summer together and even the weather predictions are great!

The first Wijnfestival van de Lage Landen (Wine Festival of the Low Lands) is coming up. At this festival you can discover the best wines from the Netherlands and Belgium! On Sunday, Sept. 1st, thirty Dutch and Belgian winemakers will let you try their best wines. The festival lasts from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and takes place on the beautiful estate Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt in Beesd. This is the place for a vibrant afternoon of wine tasting.
Costa Coffee unveils new Golden Caramel drinks range

Costa Coffee, a coffee shop chain in the UK, yesterday announced the launch of a new Golden Caramel drinks range, available in-stores and via Costa Express machines. As the official coffee partner of the Paris 2024 Olympics Games, the Golden Caramel drinks range has been crafted to capture the essence of champions – with each drink designed to shimmer with a touch of gold.

- Haarlem-based craft brewery Jopen has made an IPA with desalinated North Sea water from SEA Water.
- Reopening of sustainable restaurant Nolla in Helsinki, 2 special nights of cooking without electricity.

The summer drinks we love to drink on a terrace

At last we have warm, sunny weather here in the Netherlands! We made a list of the ultimate summer drinks that we love to drink on the terrace. Think of a Tomatini, an old-fashioned Pimm’s Cup, Negroni, Lychee Martini or a cocktail flight! But also the various non-alcoholic drinks – like a Santani organic soda or a small bottle of Crodino for those who love the Aperol taste! The latter is also orange, a great non-alcoholic alternative while watching the Dutch team during the European Championships. 
Taco Bell and Revolution Carts empower local food vendors in LA

Taco Bell is stepping up to help bring the locally iconic Ave 26 Family Night Market back to downtown LA for pop-up events during three upcoming Taco Tuesdays. As an extension from last year’s partnership, Taco Bell and Revolution Carts are providing 26 sidewalk-legal food carts to local street vendors this summer. These Revolution Carts will be distributed at each of the Ave 26 events, which will be held in the Arts District on June 18, July 23 and August 13, 2024.
