Karaoke bar Duke of Tokyo Utrecht opens in the Ganzenmarkt Tunnel

For over a week you have been able to reserve your private karaoke booth at the Duke Of Tokyo in Utrecht in the Ganzenmarkt Tunnel. After a long wait and speculating about the opening date, it’s finally here! This Thursday, February 17, Duke of Tokyo will officially open its second location on the Ganzenmarkt Tunnel in the heart of Utrecht. Karaoke fans and party animals can show off their singing skills in seven over the top karaoke booths, or sip Japanese cocktails or ice cold beer in the cozy bar.

Le Louise Hotel Brussels | Introduction of MGallery Collection in Belgium

The former Sofitel is located on the Avenue de la Toison d’Or, between the historic centre and the European neighbourhoods. Cédric Grolet at The Berkeley opens on Valentine’s Day

We already spotted the date of opening on Instagram last week and mentioned it in our ‘Trends we spotted week 5’, but it’s now official, on Monday 14th February 2022, one of the world’s best pastry chefs will open the doors to his first patisserie outside of France, Cédric Grolet at The Berkeley.
From Valentine’s Day at 8am, the chef’s world renowned creations will be available to takeaway, including Grolet’s famous trompe-l’œil, fruit and flower cakes. The patisserie – which is almost lab-like in its aestehetic with touches of gold and is designed by renowned interior designer Remi Tessier – has a central focal point: The Chef’s Counter which will host a globally exclusive dining experience inside the lab, set to wow Londoners and beyond.

Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam | The latest hotel developments

On March 16 and 17 you can get acquainted with the latest developments in the hotel industry during the Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam. For example, you can see the following developments: a personal hologram that welcomes you in the lobby, recyclable bath slippers, bactericidal design wallpaper, but also a complete work-out station in the form of an interactive mirror for the hotel room.
The Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam takes place for the second time in RAI Amsterdam. The event, which has been organized in London since 2012, focuses among others on the independent hotelier from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In addition to London and Amsterdam, the Independent Hotel Show will also be held in Miami this year. During the event, the corona measures in force at that time will be observed. ‘Rotterdam Naming Celebration’ cruise and royal treatment for newest ship of the HAL

Holland America Line’s newest ship ‘Rotterdam’ is set to get the royal treatment at a naming ceremony in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, May 30, 2022. Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands will be the ship’s godmother, carrying on a Dutch royal tradition that began in the 1920s. And there will be a special seven-day ‘Rotterdam Naming Celebration’ cruise that sails roundtrip to Norway.
