Each year it looks like there are more and more food festivals to visit in The Netherlands. Festivals where you, together with others, can enjoy the most delicious dishes, drinks and music. As The Hague offers a wide variety of restaurants, serving foods from all over the world, it’s decided to bring all these restaurant together for a food festivals. The Haagse Wereld Hapjes event will take place from the 30th of June till the 2nd of July at the Lange Voorhout in The Hague. Another reason to work a bit harder at the gym ;-).

Shakespeare – The Milkshake Bar | New in The Hague

Great news! The summer will arrive shortly and a milkshake bar in The Hague will open next Monday. The idea of drinking a milkshake on a sunny day doesn’t sound that bad, does it? During the opening on Monday free milkshake will be given away. Everyone is welcome at Shakespeare – The Milkshake Bar, located at the Bierkade in The Hague.
JUIZ~S by Niven | Dutch chef Niven Kunz launches vegetable juices

Chef Niven Kunz developed a number of healthy juices in collaboration with JUIZ~S. The result is presented under the name JUIZ~S by Niven. A selection of three cold-pressed vegetable juices, entirely according to Niven’s 80/20 philosophy with 80% vegetables and 20% fruit and/or herbs. Niven is so proud of the result that he will sell the juices in a special juice arrangement in his restaurant as well.

Down Town Gourmet Market | Food market in Eindhoven

Last King’s Day I was in Eindhoven and in advance I received an email with a tip about a recently opened food market in Eindhoven: Down Town Gourmet Market. Although we already had a reservation for another restaurant, we couldn’t resist to have a quick look at this new market. It seemed that everybody was enjoying themselves as it was quite busy!
