Music for the hearing impaired

Clash Club in São Paulo, Brazil recently held a night of music specially for the hearing impaired. During its recent “Feel the Sound” night, the club served up music via a sound system with enhanced bass to help those with hearing disabilities to feel the sound waves. Visual projections were highlighted with lasers and brighter lighting. Interpreter service was available and the staff of Clash underwent a training with a speech therapist.

French designer Mathieu Lehanneur has created a series of Wi-Fi stations in Paris where people can sit down to use their laptop or smartphone, named Escale Numérique (Digital Break). The large digital billboard provides city information and news. In New York you will find those billboards and free Wi-fi in old telephone booths.

We often see examples of America’s extreme love for bacon. Kraft homestyle partnerred with sports website BleacherReport and promoted one of their new pastas with shap cheddar and bacon flavor by baconizing the sports website. For the baconized website 1.000 strips of bacon were used.
