Amsterdam is getting ready to fill the city with love, diversity and pride. From the 1st till the 6th of August, we can once again enjoy a spectacular Pride in Amsterdam with the theme #YOUAREINCLUDED. We have compiled a small collection of Pride 2023 events, parties, food dishes, ‘cocktails for a cause’, make-up workshops, an exposition, bingo, parade initiatives and the #TakeAStance initiative for sharing views and proposing solutions for inclusivity.

Nozomi Japan Inc. is expanding its business to the world and will hold reception tasting events in the U.S. and France for their fermentation + art themed high brand sake “SHIROKIMONO”. This sparkling sake will only be available at selected restaurants in 2023 and there will be no general release.

A number of pop-up beach clubs from major brands, we previously wrote about Gucci in the South of France and now a pop-up from Louis Vuitton in the beach bar of the Mandarin Oriental in Bodrum. And in Malaysia there is a Dioriviera! This pop-up is at the Ember Beach Club of the One&Only Desaru Coast.
Last year we already wrote an article about Anya Hindmarch‘s special ice cream project, you can taste her special ice cream flavors again until August 27 at Anya Village in London. And a lesson on how to create butlers: the Hôtel Belles Rives in Juan-les-Pins on the French Riviera introduces a ‘Water Ski Butler’.
In Milan, the ‘Ichi Station sushi bar’ chain has opened a new location on Via Solferino, with a special design in peachy colors. However, we think the packaging of their sushi take-out is very cool! Maybe an inspiration for other sushi chains!

On July 21, 22 and 23, Door 74 will host cocktail festival SHAKE! This festival takes place at Helling 7 and Lagerwal, where the initiators, together with ten Amsterdam cocktail bars and various brands, bring the vibrant cocktail scene closer to the public. The other participating cocktail bars are: The Tailor, Cielo, Rosalia’s Menagerie, Super Lyan, Pulitzer’s Bar, Vesper, Law & Order, Feijoa and Café Panache.

The room is much more than a simple room to sleep in, it is an enchanting space full of creativity. The room speaks through its vibrant colors, shapes and the use of different materials. Inspired by the Greek gods, Belaire created Belaire ZEUS, the world’s largest bottle of bubbly rosé. This 45-liter bottle is the equivalent to 60 standard bottles. And Aperol Spritz is creating an Italian ‘LA Spritz Piazza’ in the north of Paris on July 7 and 8. We have great squares for a similar piazza here in the Netherlands as well!

Milestone for new Dutch BOB Rivierenland | very first wines bottled

A milestone for the six wine estates of the new BOB Rivierenland: the first wines covered by this geographical quality label are in bottles and have been labelled. It is the very first bottling of the BOB Rivierenland approved in December 2022, which stands for ‘Beschermde Oorsprongsbenaming’ (Protected Designation of Origin) Rivierenland.

The lab will serve as a hub for hands-on and virtual learning opportunities for Starbucks partners (employees), students, researchers and industry leaders to innovate and scale sustainable solutions for some of the world’s most challenging environmental and social issues, including climate adaption and agricultural economics.
