Art of Travel | Louis Vuitton X Claridge’s Christmas Tree 2023

We love the tradition of Claridge’s, London’s legendary Mayfair hotel, to have their Christmas Tree decorated by a, as they call it, long-time friend of the hotel. We have articles on many of their Christmas Trees decorated by famous designer friends, like for example Christian Louboutin in 2019 and Karl Lagerfeld back in 2017. This year it’s Louis Vuitton and we love their Art of Travel theme!
The Claridge’s Christmas Tree 2023 by Louis Vuitton brings together two illustrious names who have long celebrated the Art of Travel and crossed paths throughout their respective histories after both being founded in 1854.

And an interesting design article on Eater about the neon walls, palm-shaped chairs and giant pepper mills of Shuggie’s Trash Pie, they call it maxed-out restaurant design for 2023.

Planet Ardbeg Tour | For lovers of smokey cocktails

For cocktails you had to be in Amsterdam this month, cocktail month September started with the Amsterdam Cocktail Week and now ends with the special whisky experience the Planet Ardbeg Tour. From September 28 untill the 30th , experience four special signature Ardbeg cocktails at the famous cocktail bars: Flying Dutchmen Cocktails, LuminAir, J.D. Williams whisky bar and Bar Feijoa. Each cocktail bar serves a cocktail based on one of the three editions of whisky brand Ardbeg, on which the ‘Planet Ardbeg’ comic book is also inspired.
The Bocktoberfest at House of Bird
