Gin Mayo | The latest creation of Mussel & Gin

If you have ever eaten at Mussel & Gin in Amsterdam you must have noticed their gin mayonnaise, served with the food. The mixture of ‘Zaanse Mayonaise’ and Bobby’s Dry Gin has been created back in 2014, but is now also available to take home in a tube. The tube gin mayo can be purchased separately for € 1.95 at the restaurant.
Üllo the wine purifier | No more hangovers from wine

An already backed project at Kickstarter: the Ullo wine purifier. This wine purifier claims it removes sulphites from your wine and thus prevents hangovers, only from wine of course!
The GT1pro Magister | the first designer shoe for chefs with Michelin-soles

Chef Joris Bijdendijk has received the first designer shoe for chefs with Michelin-soles at the Dutch Horecava, the trade fair for hotels and restaurants. These professional work shoes are designed by chefs clothing company Chaud Devant in collaboration with the French tire company Michelin. They worked intensively at this innovative product for more than a year. The result is a series of shoes with excellent flexibility and an ingenious non-slip design that supports fast movements in several directions without losing its grip. This creates a safer working environment for chefs and lighter, more comfortable shoes.

Gin is still gaining popularity, British Airways is proving this with the launch of the specially made tipple – British Airways Gin. The gin will only be served to the airline’s First customers, from the bar of the prestigious Concorde Room at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.

On average one out of ten people in the world are lefthanded. According to a Dutch article ‘Wetenschap in Beeld’ a cork screw is one of the worst obstacles for lefthanded people. In order to solve this problem Pulltex, producer of cork screws, developed a special version of the corkscrew for lefthanded people with another direction of rotation. De ‘Pullparrot’ has a double lever and an extra-long spiral.
The Roast Room | Opening of their new butchery

The butchery of The Roast Room in Amsterdam will open its doors on the 5th of December. Thanks to the butchery you won’t have to reserve a table anymore to eat one of the delicious steaks of The Roast Room, just simply buy a piece at the butchery. The Roast Room anticipates on the butcher-to-table trend with the opening of their new butchery.
