Ecopoon | Additional funding for the development of their edible spoons

Ecopoon, a Belgian company, is further expanding its production of edible and ecological spoons for the hospitality sector. Earlier this year, the start-up raised just over half a million euros that will be used to invest in the further expansion of its product range and production. Ecopoon is also launching another new spoon, ‘Glacette’, specifically for desserts and ice cream parlours this spring. They are thinking of further international expansion.

Yesterday Pizza Hut announced the return of a beloved, limited-edition offering from the 1990s: Mini Basketballs. Just in time for NCAA® March Madness®, the 2023 Mini Basketballs will be available for a limited time only starting on March 14 at participating Pizza Hut restaurants nationwide for only $7 via the Pizza Hut website and Pizza hut app (taxes not included; prices and participation vary). The new Mini Basketballs feature a black and red pattern with “No One Out Pizzas The Hut”® text.

Sixth edition National Week Without Meat & Dairy

Today, March 6, marked the start of the sixth edition of the Dutch National Week Without Meat & Dairy. Since the last edition, dairy has been added to the campaign, now a permanent feature. The campaign invites the whole of the Netherlands to take up the challenge to become aware of the positive climate impact of eating less meat and dairy in a positive and inspiring way. This is the week in which the Netherlands learns how easy and delicious eating without meat and dairy can be. After a record number of participants during the last edition, this year has many participants too, like supermarkets, producers, schools, petrol stations, student associations and ministries are joining this initiative.
